The past 2 years we’ve witnessed the revolutionary power of intentional celebration of community as over 400 Black queer and trans people gathered together in Oakland/Ohlone land to celebrate Pride. The Cookout is an invitation to all Black Queer and/or Trans folx to embrace the fullness of our true selves, bask in each other's joy, and connect with like-minds. We are prepared to curate this exclusively Black space again and we are excited to be inspired by the extraordinary talent of Black queer and trans artists, performers, vendors/entrepreneurs, and community healers.
